2018 is my sixth year documenting my life with Project Life®* and I can't think about not doing it anymore. My main album will stay the same but I will change things up a little bit for my personal project.
Main Project Life® album
In this album I tell the story of our everday life. People we meet, stuff we do, things that are important to both of us.
- Album: black 12x12 album from Stampin'Up
- Page protectors: Design A + one 12x12 envelope for the back
- Format: monthly spreads (read more about my experience with monthly spreads here)
- Extras: I will use some fun gold embossed monthly cards from Ali Edwards which where part of the One Little Word® kit for my title card each month.
Personal Journal
Unlike the past two years I won't use a 6x8 album with page protectors. I bought a journal with prompts to fill out the pages. In this journal I tell my own story. It's all about my projects, books I read, important text messages/e-mails I get, what I eat and drink, basically stuff I share on my Instagram account.
- Journal: A5 size Jahrbuch from Greta's Schwester (sometimes there is an English version available as well).
- Format: the journal is broken down into monthly chapters. That means I will also create monthly pages.
- Extras: The illustrations in the journal are different throughout the year and always super basic. Whenever it makes sense, I will work with the illustrations. In other months I will cover them up.
P.S. Nadine had the same idea for 2018 to use that Jahrbuch from Greta's Schwester and I can't wait to see the pages she will create in that journal.
