Welcome to part three of my December Daily® album. Today I share days 17 through 23 with you.
On the left is the back of our Christmas Card.
You almost can't see it, but the photo of our tree on the right is not in a page protector. It's glued down on a 4x4 piece of paper which I added directly to the album.
The dark patterned paper with the white dots on it is the back of the 4x4 piece of paper from day 18.
For day 20 I had a few more photos so it's a double spread. And again, the 3x4 photo on the right is on a 4x4 piece of paper (the black/white photo is in a page protector again). I just like to include paper without a page protector to my album here and there. This way the whole album is more interesting and the part right where the holes are isn't always the same.
The flower/snowflake on the left was stamped on the envelope in which I received that Christmas card. It's made by Katja and such a beautiful card. Definitely a favorite.
On the right you can see an idea that I like to do when I don't have white space on my photo to add the words. I just made a white box in photoshop elements where I added the text on top. The white box is a little bit see through.
For day 23 I used one of Ali Edwards' printables from 2014, where I changed the day of the week. On the right I added a 4x6 card from the paislee press mini kit directly into the album. It represents the start of our Christmas festivities (here in Switzerland we already celebrate on December 24).
I will document the whole December and will share my last few spreads in 2017.
