knitting, knitting and knitting almost every day. My current project is the Lucinda sweater and I already finished the back of it. You can follow me on ravelry (username: andreacollects) if you are interested in more information about my knitting projects.

planning to spend more time behind the sewing maching in the next few weeks. There are several patterns I finally want to try: The Alder Shirtdress and Scout Tee from Grainline Studio, the Basics Tank from Cali Faye Collection and the Odgen Cami from True Bias.

looking forward to my second The Crafter's Box. It's the box featured Sarah K. Benning and her beautiful embroidery.

excited about the new A5 GET TO WORK BOOK® inserts I ordered last week. I will use them in my SC planner I got during a huge sale. And yep, I know that this means, I have to make a LOT OF holes in those pages...

celebrating the arrival of my favorite season: FALL. I can't wait to eat pumpkins every week, preserving apples, enjoying moments in our warm house, drinking lots of tea, going for a beautiful walk while the leaves crunch below your feet,...

searching for the perfect pumpkin pie recipe. If you have a great recipe, please share it!

re-reading the whole Harry Potter series again. But this time I will read it from the illustrated books. I recently got the first one and plan to get those books every year from now on. Harry Potter is still my favorite series and I love going back into this world full of magic. This past month I also read the eight book - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It's totally different (because it's a play) but still so magical.

thinking about how I want to document our December this year. The plan so far is to use a 4x6 album (I bought this one from Ali Edwards) and l'll probably put together a kit from my stash again like I did last year. But I also got the Paislee Press Mini Kit so it'll be a mix of old and new stuff.

One Little Word® 2016 // August and September

Create Share Love | One Little Word 2016 LIGHT September

We have about 3.5 months left this year and I am already thinking about my word for 2017. There are a few words I am thinking about a lot lately. I haven't decided yet on a word for next year but I'm writing down those words that I won't forget them.

Today I show you how I interpreted the August and September prompts from the class*. Because I am working with a different album size (5x7) I always have to make a few changes. But that's okay.

Create Share Love | One Little Word 2016 LIGHT August

AUGUST: For August we had to write about what we are struggling with, what we are celebrating, and how our life look like right now. For my "right now" photo I picked a photo of myself. I am really happy and love this chapter I am in. I love living my life. That photo of me represents all the happiness I have in my life right now. But of course there are also things I'm struggling with. Not everything is perfect, but I'm still super happy.

SEPTEMBER: Is all about paying attention. To find out how we rest, with which pace we go through our life and what brings us joy. I am following Ali's lead and documenting all those little joys throughout the month.

Planner Station and Planner Decoration

Create Share Love | Planner Station

Two months ago, when I shared my Get To Work Book® I wrote, that "... I don't decorate my pages..." so you might be wondering, why am I talking about Planner Decoration today. Well, back then it was true: I didn't decorate my pages. But a few weeks ago I signed up for the Planner Kit from Studio Calico and started to slowly decorate my planner pages. My decorations are very minimal but at the moment I really like this creative outlet.

Shortly after I signed up for the Planner Kit I decided to put together a Planner Station. I keep in there a few things to decorate my pages. I like to have it on my table nearby and that I don't have to go to my craft room, every time I want to use a stamp in my planner or adding some washi tape.

I bought this wired basket at Interio here in Switzerland. It holds all my supplies. I also got two smaller plastic bins (also from Interio) to hold my washi tape and other small things.

What I keep in my Planner Station:

  • stamps from PAPIERPROJEKT (top left) and StudioCalico (bottom right)
  • small paper clips
  • glue roller
  • sticky notepad from StudioCalico
  • several different stickers (shapes, numbers and alphas). Most of them are from StudioCalico
  • printables. The ones in the photo were part of the "Planner Bootcamp" class from StudioCalico
  • labels. Those are from StudioCalico. I just printed one black label from this sheet over and over.
  • ink pads. At the moment I have a black red and green one in my station
  • washi tape
  • a few 3x4 cards. They were all from my stash.
  • I also keep some white paper in my bin when I need to stamp something onto it and then adding it to my planner.

And now I share a few pages of my planner. As you can see, some pages are decorated and others aren't at all. Just because I really enjoy to decorate my planner pages it doesn't mean I do it all the time. There are weeks where I am not interested in it and other weeks, where I really like to spend time making it pretty.

I created my own version of the Get To Work Book with inserts from The Simple Scrapper Planner. You can find a short video of that planner on Instagram. It's only A5 (a little bit smaller than the GTWB) but works perfectly as well.

This is the monthly spread. Here I don't add any decorations at all. I only use it for my blog.

This was the first week I decorated. Well actually the first half week. Kept it super simple though.

Through the Lens: Ticino

Create Share Love | Through The Lens - Ticino 1

Last week we spent four days in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland. We usually don't go on vacation here in Switzerland because it's really expensive. But the Italian part of Switzerland really has my heart. I love the warmer temperatures, the super delicious food, the fact that people like to drink wine all the time and of course the beautiful language. We stayed in Brissago and visited Morcote, Ascona and Bellinzona. Today I share a few photos from our mini vacation. This time I took all my photos with my iPhone 5s and edited them with the app A Color Story.
