This month was all about creating a vision board for our word. I made my first vision board last year and had a lot of fun. My initial plan was to create something different this time. I planned to type words related to my word in Photoshop Elements and then print them out. Well, I printed them out but I didn't like the result. So I went out and bought some (really expensive) English magazines and started ripping out everything that spoke to me.
I painted the top of my canvas with acrylic paint and added the recycled word I bought from Colleen Attara.
I didn't include any photos. Just words. First I glued down all those magazine clippings and then added a coat of mod podge to seal it.
For my album I made a photo of my vision board. On the right side you can see my reflections page. At the end of each month Ali invites us to look back and write down, what worked well and where we can make improvements. The word art is part of the class material.
*One Little Word® is a concept created by Ali Edwards where you pick a word at the beginning of the year and you work with your word on a year long journey. You can find out more about it here and sign up for the class here.
