As I mentioned in this blog post I will change things up a little bit for 2015. This year I will no longer complete weekly spreads but I'm focusing on a monthly/theme based documenting and I want to tell more stories.
I worked on this spread in three settings. First part was the planning part, where I decided which photo and which stories to include. Second part was adding text to all the photos and printing them out and the third part was decorating my pages.
I kept it very simple and used almost no embellishments. I like to keep the focus on the photos and the text. To include more text in my spreads I added some longer stories onto the photos before I printed them.
Here is a closer look at one of the inserts. One of the things I want to do this year is to keep track of all of my knitting projects.
I'm planning to include this list every month to have an overview what we watched, which podcasts I listened to and which books I read.
Here I included stories with the same theme (meeting my sister) on one card although they weren't from the same day.
Because my focus is now on the whole month I can include similar photos next to each other. I like that they tell another story when they are gathered in one spot.
