The first month of the year is already over. And today I share my pages for the first prompt.
Like last year I use a simple 5x7 minibook. I'll add pages as I go and keep it simple. Mostly plain white cardstock, words and photos. I want to use what I have on hand and don't buy new stuff just because it looks prettier. I can make it work without spending money.
For my first page I used a photo of me holding my word. I glued down the photo onto some patterned paper and stamped the words "this word" multiple times.

The text on the left comes from this blog post I shared last week. We were invited to include a photo of us. I like that prompt because it is a great way to document how I look like in that year and I love to look back in 10 years from now.
I also wanted to include a photo of my soulmantra. At the moment I always have it visible on my table in my office at home. I guess I'll add it to the album at the end of the year.
I created a One Little Word Pinterest board where I will collects inspiring quotes and articles about my word.

The first month of the class is always a little bit intense. It makes you think about many things and areas in your life you want to change or focus on. But exactly because it is intense you create a really deep connection with your word. I worked on the prompt during the whole month to not feel overwhelmed.
*One Little Word® is a concept created by Ali Edwards where you pick a word at the beginning of the year and you work with your word on a year long journey. You can find out more about it here and sign up for the class here.
