One of my favorite projects this year was my personal Project Life® album. I love that I had a place to keep all my photos and stories of my projects and other things that matter to me. The idea behind this album is simple: Everything I want to document but don't want to have in our main Project Life® album, goes in here.
The goal was to fit the whole year into one 6x8" album (it's a handbook from Studio Calico). At the beginning of the year (especially in January and February) I used way too many page protectors and I wasn't sure if I would fit everything into this one album. But then I used less and less page protectors and in the end it worked out very well.
Today I share the last three months of 2016 with you.
I had a lot "on my table" this year and love that I have captured so many different projects throughout the year.
I added the "give me fall" card directly into the album. It's a free printable from lifelovepaper you can get here.
I like to document progress in this album. I did that on the top right where I added photos of my embroidery from different days.
For November I did that collage (on the right) again which I included back in August as well. This way I can add all those photos but don't have to use so many page protectors.
I made a template of this collage which is basically just 12 squares on a 6x8 page, 12 small, black circles and white numbers on top of the circles.
And then on a 3x8 page I added those numbers again and wrote more about each photo.
For December I did the same like I did in November. A big collage of photos and some words to those photos.
For my last page I included my Instagram "best nine in 2016". You can create your own collage on 2016bestnine.com.
And that's it. The whole year in one album. So many projects, so many memories. In 2017 I will do this project again.
