Last year I successfully participated in the Write_On Challenge. The Write_On Challenge is about writing 30 letters in 30 days in April. It's about sending out more mail and connection with people through a handwritten note. I truly loved it last year and decided to do it again.
This time I put together some sort of kit where I have all the supplies I will need in April at one place. This will help me to focus on writing and not collection the stuff I need to write a letter.
With my One Little Word "light" in mind I picked items from my stash (except postage stamps). I want to finally use all those pretty cards I collected over the years. They are much more worth out in the world instead of sitting in my box.
What I have in my kit:
- cards
- pens (love to use these and these)
- postage stamps
- "hooray for happy mail" stamp
- "happy mail" stamp from Ann-Marie Loves (not available anymore)
- roller stamp from the Day in the Life Kit
- washi tape
- ink pads (watermelon and black)
- a few stam sets from Papierprojekt to decorate my cards and/or envelopes
The time roller stamp from the Day in the Life Kit is perfect to number all my cards I will send out in April. Super excited to use it this way.
Are you also participating in this challenge? I promise you, it's super fun. And I also like that I take some time each day to sit down and write something to someone. It's not that easy to find 30 people to write to. Last year I contacted some people I admire and asked for their address. I also sent 10 cards to people I didn't know (I just host an Instagram giveaway). I will probably do that again this year. So look out for that post on Instagram.
