This is my third year documenting our life with Project Life. And as I wrote here I will change things up a little bit this year. But one thing that stays, is the title page. Title pages are different than the rest of my album. I don't document something that happened but I try to create a page that implicates what you'll see in this album. So it's photos of us, moments we want to remember, events we record and stories about us.
When it comes to creating my title page, I make sure to inlcude two things:
- One photo of us together and one photo of each of us alone.
We made the photos on the bottom in late December. I like the portrait style and that they document how we look like at the beginning of the new year. We also made a photo of us together, but I used that rad photo which my boyfriend made on the top left.
- One filler card with the year on it.
For this page I kept it very neutral (black/white/gray) with some pops of color. I used a variety of cards from past Studio Calico Project Life Kits (the YES card, the ABOUT US card and the HELLO card) as well as some cut down patterned paper I had laying around.
That blue card was in one of Katie Licht's Awesome Paper Packs which I cut down to 3x4. On top I added a transparency from Studio Calico, which is no longer available.
This card is probably my favorite one from this spread. I used a white 3x4 card and stamped on it "remember this" multiple times.
Supplies used: Design F Page Protector, remember this stamp - part of the December Daily Kit, older FOR THE RECORD stamp by elisejoy.com, Stazon Ink Pad
Project Life® is a system to document your life, created by Becky Higgins. You can find all my posts from 2015 here and from 2014 here. In this blog post I talked about my weekly process. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments and I'm happy to answer them.
