Before I started this blog I created my own blog planner. (I wrote about it here.) I used a simple Moleskine notebook and made the planner by hand. (Which took forever, especially because I didn't like the first version and actually made two)
Back in July Caylee of cayleegrey.com launched her new venture pretty organised. She sells rad printable planners in her etsy shop. Together with Vanessa she designed the Pretty Documented planner and various add-ons. One of the add-ons is the Blog Planner which is based on my blog planner. (Awesome, right?)
I printed my blog planner at home in A4 size and have it bound professionally. The structure I followed for this planner is pretty close to my original blog planner.
The blog starts with an intro page where I'll write down all my blog information. Right after that comes the index which covers three pages.
The next twelve double pages look all the same. Monthly overview on the left, posts to write on the right. I modified the left page in Photoshop Elements to have larger daily boxes.
Then there are three double spreads for random ideas.
And three double spreads for features.
In the back I printed many many pages with space to plan my posts. I like to sketch out an idea first before I start writing.
*Please note: I got this planner for free but words, photos and opinion are my own.
